Gary Alan Fugate passed away on Thursday December 18th 2025. He was born on July 10th 1958 to the late Clarence "CA" Fugate and Phyllis Fugate. He loved to fish and had a special gift for making people laugh.

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his daughter Melissa Perry, brother Clarence "Wayne" Fugate and his niece Darlena Lanham.

Gary is survived by his sons Gary (Cara) and Larry (Kelly), brothers David (Carolyn) and Roger of Charleston, Paul (Teresa) of GA, sisters Linda Lanham and Sandra Jones (Carl Burford) of Charleston and Sherry Branscomb (Billy Bob) of OH, seven grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren, and best friend Butch Townsend who was closer to Gary than anyone and remained best friends for most of their lives.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday December 23rd at Cunningham Parker Johnson Funeral Home from 3:00pm-7:00pm
