Freida "Pat" Nottingham Aldridge, 92, of Charleston, WV, passed away on Saturday, February 3, 2024 at CAMC Memorial Hospital. She was born on May 31, 1931 in Huntington to the late Dora Lee Thompson of Butler, KY, and Esther Gaines Scott of Cincinnati.

Freida was a member of Rebecca Chapel. She previously attended Charleston Mt. Mission where she sang in the radio broadcast choir and attended the Northside Baptist Church in Chuluota, FL. She worked previously as a volunteer at Charleston Mountain Missions Store.

In addition to her parents, Freida is preceded in death by her first husband Curtis Ira Nottingham of Charleston and her second husband Charles Aldrige of Orlando, FL, formerly of St. Albans, and great-grandchild Brookly Nottingham.

Those left to cherish her memory include her son Curtis Wayne Nottingham of Charleston, daughters Rose Esther Baldwin of Charleston, and Joyce Ann Greeno of Marmet, grandchildren Angie Baldwin Derrick of Charleston, Curtis Wayne Nottingham Jr of Charleston, Amanda and Aaron Larrick of Charleston, SC, five great-grandchildren, Cierra Haynes ,Kacie Haynes, Zane Nottingham, Wyatt Nottingham all of Charleston and Rose Marie Larrick of Charleston, SC.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, February 9, 2024 at Cunningham Parker Johnson Funeral Home with Rev. Ronnie Nida officiating. Burial will follow in Shivley Ranson Cemetery on Legg Fork Road in Charleston.

Visitation will be held from 12:00 - 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home before the service.
