Our beloved Mother, Freeda Margaret Hamon Pritt, 88, of Cross Lanes, went home to be with the Lord Tuesday, September 19, 2017, in Hubbard Hospice House of South Charleston.
She was the daughter of the late Robert L and Missouri Parsons Hamon. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Lester L Pritt and son Randall Wayne Pritt. She was the last living sibling of the Hamon family and was preceded in death by Haymon, Raymond, Susie, Esaw, Oral "Tator", Herma, Freddie, Gladys & Patsy.
She is survived by her children Joan Purse, Deborah Young, Saundra Joy Vernati, Dennis Pritt , Todd "Taco", Page and Kelley Kimberlin; Eleven grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren; special nephew Gary Cook; special niece Brenda Hamon Thaxton ; best friend and special sister in law Janet Hamon and devoted granddaughter Amber Pritt.
Our dear Mother had a host of life long friends as she loved to play bingo, card games and shop at yard sales.
She enjoyed life to the fullest. She could make you smile when you were feeling sad. She touched lives in so many ways that no one can describe.
Memorial services will be held Saturday September 23, 2017 12:00 pm at Cunningham-Parker-Johnson Funeral Home with Donna Miller Officiating. Gathering of family and friends will be one hour prior to the service. Inurnment will be at the Hamons Skeen Cemetery in Kentuck Jackson Co.
In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to Hospice Care , 1606 Kanawha Blvd W, Charleston WV 25387. Cunningham-Parker-Johnson Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
