Obituary
Frederick R. Hill, 70 of Charleston passed away October 24, 2017 at his home. He accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and Savior.
Fred was a Retired Construction Supervisor, loved wrestling, WVU football and enjoyed western movies.
Frederick was an Army Veteran of The Korean Conflict having served 2 tours in combat.
He was preceded in death by his parents and loving wife, Theirtha Hill.
Survivors include his son, Freddy Hill of Charleston; daughters, Amy Thomas of Salisbury, NC and Lisa Stephens of Cross Lanes; brothers, Joseph Hill of Texas and Jimmy Hill of South Charleston; sisters, Janie Hill, Judy Wilkinson, Pat Westfall, Kathy Milam, Dreama Hill, Ruth Marion, Chyrell Elswick and Tammy Withrow, all of Charleston and Debbie Woody of Nebraska. Seven Grandchildren and Five Great Grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be 11:00 AM Friday October 27, 2017 at Cunningham-Parker-Johnson Funeral Home with Pastor Mayford Witt officiating. Entombment will Military Graveside Rites will follow in Tyler Mountain Memory Gardens, Cross Lanes. Visitation with the family will be Thursday October 26, 2017 from 6 to 8 PM also at the funeral home.
