Obituary
Frederick Ray "Fred" Tillis, Sr., 87, of Charleston passed away, October 29, 2018, after a short illness.
Fred retired from Charleston Linen Service, was a U.S. Navy Veteran of the Korean War, and served on the USS Sierra.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Madolyn; son, Freddy Tillis, Jr.; parents George Sr. and Geneva Thomas Tillis and brothers, Robert C. "Bob" and George, Jr.
Surviving are his wife, Hannah Mae Hanson Tillis; son, Kelly Tillis; daughter, Deborah Adkins, all of Charleston. Two grandchildren, three great grandchildren and the first great great grandchild on the way.
Funeral Services will be 11:00 AM Friday November 2, 2018 at Cunningham-Parker-Johnson Funeral Home with Chaplain Scott Nasby officiating. Burial will follow in Mountain View Memorial Park, Charleston. Visitation with the family will be from 6 to 8 PM Thursday, November 1, also at the funeral home.
