Freda Mae Thomason Freda Mae Humphreys Sigmon Thomason, 90 years young was born November 27, 1921 to the late Eldridge Humphreys and Sister Burdette of Sissonville, passed away February 13, 2012 at Cedar Ridge Nursing Home Sissonville. She worked as a waitress for over 50 years at many known restaurant's in Kanawha City; The Bell Restaurant; The Range; Bess Hess, and at last The Southern Kitchen. She loved bowling and made many friends at Shoney's and Dunbar Lanes. She loved to crochet, and was a member of the Moose, the Eagles and loved attending church at the Charleston Mountain Mission. Preceding her in death was her brothers, Cody, Dayton and Tom Humphreys; sister, Wilma Thomas; daughter, Glenda Eileen; husbands Glenis Sigmon and Gene Thomason. Left to cherish her memory are sons, Bobby "Ickybob" and wife Vicky Sigmon; and Roger Dale Sigmon all of Charleston; daughters, Joyce Richter and husband Bill of Buckeye, AZ; Patty Flenagan and husband Jerry of Princeton, WV; sister, Judy King of Chesapeake; six Grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and 15 great-great Grandchildren. Funeral Services will be 1:00 PM Friday February 17, 2012 at Cunningham-Parker-Johnson Funeral Home with the Rev. Fairley McCormick officiating. Burial will follow in Floral Hills Garden of Memories, Pocatalico. Visitation with the family will be Thursday from 6 to 8 PM at the Funeral Home.
