Freda "Deloris" King Jones 78 of Cross Lanes went home to be with the Lord on April 3, 2013 at Hubbard Hospice House West after a long illness. She was preceded in death by her first husband Arnold King; brother, Robert Atkinson, sister, Wanda Jean Pritt and her grandson Andrew King. Deloris retired from Blue Cross Blue Shield Insurance Company and was a member of Davis Memorial Missionary Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband Charles E. Jones of Cross Lanes; children, David King and wife Sandy and T. Steven King and wife Lisa all of Charleston, Theresa Halliday of Palm Beach Florida, Judy Meliea Whitehair and husband John of Elkview and Stanley King and wife Patty of Sissonville. Great Grandson whom she raised Jakob Matthews of Cross Lanes, two step-sons, Chuck Jones and wife Karen of Columbus Ohio and Barry Jones of Cross Lanes. She had 19 Grandchildren and 14 Great Grandchildren Funeral Services will be 11:00 AM Saturday April 6, 2013 at Cunningham-Parker-Johnson Funeral Home with Rev. Roger Vannoy officiating. Entombment will follow in Tyler Mountain Memory Gardens, Cross Lanes. Visitation with the family will be from 6 to 8 PM Friday at the Funeral Home.
