Frances Juanita "Frankie" Moore, 76, of Charleston, went home to be with the Lord on March 24, 2014. Frankie was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother who enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She was also an animal lover and cherished her cats. She loved the Lord and was a member of Starcher Baptist Church, Charleston. She loved to listen to Gospel music. Frankie belonged to Compassionate Friends at Women's and Children's Hospital. In the late 1950's and early 1960's, she was also one of Alex Schoenbaum's (Shoney's) first managers. Preceding her in death were her parents, William and Katherine (Mullins) Holt; sons, William H. Moore, Jr. and Timothy Moore; one brother; and four sisters. Surviving are her loving daughter, Robin Hamilton and her husband, Donald of Dunbar; brothers, George Diamond of South Charleston and Danny Holt of Dunbar; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be 1:00 PM Thursday, March 27, 2014 at Cunningham-Parker-Johnson Funeral Home with Rev. Tom Moore officiating. Burial will follow at Fisher Cemetery, Sissonville.
