March 24, 1925 – April 3, 2023
Floyd L. Fauber, 98, of Charleston was reunited with the love of his life, our mother Pauline.
Dad recently celebrated his birthday with his family on March 24th, 2023.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife Pauline; parents, Emma and Charles Fauber, and step father Fred Beaver; brothers Stanley, Forrest, and Vernon; and sisters, Mildred and Yvonne.
Floyd is survived by his sons Chuck (Linda) Fauber of Elkview, Ed (Lou Ann) Fauber of Belle, and Floyd "Ike" (Lois) Fauber of Hurricane; daughter Kathy (Mark) Miller of Charleston; 8 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and one on the way.
He served in the Navy during World War II on the USS Chanticleer. Dad worked and retired from Libby-Owens Ford with 32 years of service. He loved sports, fishing, hunting, and was an avid hiker.
The family would like to thank Sweetbriar and Hubbard Hospice House for all the wonderful care given to him.
Funeral Services will be 1:00 P.M. Saturday, April 8, 2023 at Emmanuel Baptist Church, 1401 Washington St. West, Charleston with Pastor Don Biram officiating. Burial will follow in the Gunno Family cemetery.
Visitation will begin one hour before the service at the Church.
The family suggests contributions be made to Kanawha Hospice in care of Floyd.
