Faith Kathryn Calhoun, 27, of Charleston went home to be with the Lord on August 24, 2017. She passed peacefully in her sleep at her home due to lifelong health issues.
Throughout her life, Faith withstood various challenges and never wavered. She led a life full of joy, touching lives everywhere she went. Faith loved music, chocolate, and teasing those she loved, and she never let her wheelchair or disability stop her. She faithfully attended St. Paul Presbyterian Church and enlightened the lives of everyone around her.
She is survived by her parents, Byron and Kathryn Calhoun; brothers, Paul and Daniel Calhoun; sister, Mercy Calhoun; sister-in-law, Barbara Calhoun; nieces, Katy and Penelope Calhoun; maternal grandmother, Barbara Graham; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and caregivers.
A celebration of Faith's life will be held at 2:00PM on Saturday, September 2, at St. Paul Presbyterian Church, 1423 Lee Street East in Charleston, officiated by Pastor Timothy Hudson and Deacon Gary Midkiff.
In celebration of Faith's life, please feel free to wear her favorite colors: Royal Purple or Fire Engine Red.
