Eunice Alma Ward 86 of Charleston passed away September 29, 2014 at Thomas Memorial Hospital. She was a homemaker, loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother. Preceding her in death were her parents, Maggie Lee Payne and Lilburn Messer and step-father, Hubert Griffith; husband, Homer Ward; son, Terry Wayne Ward; daughter, Judy Kay Rogers Scott; grandson, Brian Martin; brother, Ernest Messer and a special friend of Eunice and the family, William "Bill" Chittum. Survivors include her children, Gary Matheney and companion Sue of Bancroft; Pamela Doss and Debbie Kerns both of Charleston; Michael Graves of Concord, NC; Trudy Ahangardezfouli and Lisa Ann Martin both of Charleston. 21 Grandchildren, 48 Great Grandchildren and 5 Great Great Grandchildren who are also left to mourn her passing. Funeral Services will be 1:00 PM Friday October 3, 2014 at Cunningham-Parker-Johnson Funeral Home with Pastor Terry Hogue officiating. Burial will follow in Pineview Cemetery, Orgas, WV.
