Esther Evelyn Carpenter 75 of Charleston passed away July 13, 2016 at CAMC General Division. She was a Homemaker and member of Sugar Creek Community Chapel. Preceding her in death were her parents. Survivors include her husband, Tom Carpenter, Sr., sons, Scott Carpenter of Cross Lanes and Tom Carpenter, II of Charleston, daughter Christine Carpenter of Charleston, 2 brothers, 4 sisters, 8 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Funeral Services will be 4:00 PM Sunday July 17, 2016 at Cunningham-Parker-Johnson Funeral Home with Pastor Gene Sowards officiating. Visitation with the family will be from 2 to 4 PM on Sunday. Graveside Committal Service will be 1:00 PM Monday July 18, 2016 in Tyler Mountain Memory Gardens, Cross Lanes.
