Obituary
Ernest Clendenin, Jr., 75, of Easley, South Carolina, formerly of Chelyan, WV, passed away, September 4, 2018.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest and Ina Clendenin; and brother, Charles Franklin "Butch" Clendenin.
Ernest was a coal miner and construction worker.
Surviving, are his wife, Jean Clendenin of Easley, South Carolina; son, Ernest Clendenin of Easley, SC; daughter, Janeann Martin of Easley, SC; grandson, Jeremy Clendenin; sisters, Patsy Gibson of Glen Bournie, MD, and Tressie Cain of Canton, OH.
Funeral service will be 1 p.m., Monday, September 10, at Cunningham-Parker-Johnson Funeral Home, Charleston, with the Rev. Scott Davis officiating. Burial will follow in Montgomery Memorial Park, London, WV.
Visitation with the family will be from 4 to 8 P.M., Sunday, September 9, at the funeral home.
