Obituary
Ernest E. "Buddy" Burdette, 92, of Charleston passed away January 16, 2018 at Hubbard Hospice House.
He retired from the City of Charleston Parks and Recreation and The Sanitary Board. He loved gardening and hunting.
Preceding him in death were his parents, wife, Genevieve; daughter, Alice Pauley and several brothers and sisters.
Survivors include his son, Ernest Wayne Burdette of Charleston; daughters, Nancy Cox of Charleston and Brenda Bates of Winfield; grandson, Jeremy Bates of Barboursville and great granddaughter, Mikayla Bates.
Funeral Services will be 11:00 AM Thursday, January 18, 2018 at Graceland Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel with the Rev. Scott Davis officiating. Burial will follow in the cemetery.
