Emory Edsel Boggess, Jr. 58, of Ripley, passed away at his home, November 19, 2019.
He was born in Charleston, WV, on November 19, 1961, the son of Emory Edsel Boggess, Sr., and Janet Vivian Boggess. Emory Jr., enjoyed being with his dog Gizmo, building computers, politics, shooting firearms with his daughters, camping, and spending time with his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Emory Sr., and Janet Boggess; loving daughter, Crystal Boggess, and ex-wife, Brenda Monk.
Left to carry on the precious memories of Emory are; his daughter, Tiffany (Cayla) Boggess of Sissonville; brother, Jeff Boggess (Norine) of Cross Lanes; grandchildren, Destiny White, Breanna and Draven Kiser, and Layla Boggess; nieces and nephews, Tabatha Boggess, Tara Petty, Rachel Ingram, Eric Boggess, and Eric and Logan Monk.
Funeral service will be 12:00 p.m. Friday, at Cunningham-Parker-Johnson Funeral Home, Charleston. Burial will follow in Pritt Cemetery.
Visitation with the family, will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
