Obituary

Emogene Campbell, 87, of Lewisburg, TN formerly of Charleston, died Monday August 15, 2011 in NHC Oakwood Healthcare. Mrs. Campbell was a native of Marion County, Ohio and daughter of the late Harry Clay and Gladys Helen Turner Long. She was co-owner of Campbell's Furniture Store for thirty years in Charleston. She was also a member of Bethany Freewill Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Norvel A. Campbell; two sons, Robert E. Campbell and James Paul Campbell; sister, Edith Long Mitchell; and brother, Charles "Paul" Long. She is survived by five daughters, Marsha (Mervin) Hall and Lisa Snuffer both of Swansea, SC, Virginia (Ray) Miller of Charleston, WV, Judith Hebert of Ely, NV and Marilyn (Dallas) Victory of Lewisburg, TN; daughter-in-law, Reba Campbell of Sissonville, WV; two sons, Norvel S. Campbell of Swansea, SC and Jerry R. Campbell of Charleston, WV; two sisters, Martha Blazer of Lancaster, OH and Katherine Wickline of Lorraine, OH; brother, Earl W. Long of Pueblo, CO; sister-in-law, Colleen Ball Riley of Charleston, WV; 16 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. Funeral service will be Saturday, August 20, 2011 at 11:00 AM at Cunningham-Parker-Johnson Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Vinton Memorial Cemetery, Vinton, OH. Visitation with the family will be Friday from 6-8 PM at the funeral home.
