Emma "Jean" Monk 83 of Sissonville passed away January 17, 2013 at Hubbard Hospice House. Jean retired from Big H Supermarket, attended Aldersgate United Methodist Church, Pocatalico, enjoyed working outside and all of her pets. Preceding Jean in death was her husband Gene C. "Geno" Monk. Survivors include her niece, Yolanda Monroe and husband Paul of Charleston; sister, Edith Mairs Wickiser and husband Bob of Ravenswood; Great Nephew, Kyle Campbell and wife Erica; great great niece and nephew, Kate "Rita" and Kevin "Sam" Campbell; special friend, Margaret Chico Eddy and other Nieces and Nephews. Special Thanks to Miranda Campbell, her caregiver. Funeral Services will be 1:00 PM Monday January 21, 2013 at Cunningham-Parker-Johnson Funeral Home with Pastors Brad and Stephanie Bennett officiating. Burial will follow in Floral Hills Garden of Memories, Pocatalico. Visitation with the family will be one hour prior to services also on Monday.
