Emily Victoria Ann Scarberry, 20, of Charleston, WV, went to be in the arms of Jesus on Monday, December 2, 2024. She was born on May 6, 2004, to Jerry Scarberry and Sarah Harper.

Emily was a kind, caring, loving, beautiful soul from the inside out. She was always such a funny, carefree person. She was an amazing sister to her siblings and was very excited to become an aunt to her second nephew. She graduated from Sissonville High School in 2022. Emily was very passionate about her artistic skills. She painted and sketched her whole life. She was an avid gamer and loved her two cats more than anything. Emily was an amazing daughter, sister, granddaughter, niece, aunt, and friend. Her beautiful smile was contagious and she will be missed by everyone who knew her beautiful soul.

Emily is preceded in death by her great-grandmother Victoria and her grandpa Kenny.

Emily is survived by her parents, Sarah and Jerry; three siblings, Skylar, Lowen, and Raelynn; two nephews, Gabriel and Zaidyn, grandparents Doris, Tammy and Jerry Sr.; best friends Koby and Alicyn, and a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A celebration of Emily's life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 14, 2024 at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church 58 Mount Pleasant Dr., Elkview, WV, with Pastor Lee Swor officiating.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 - 2:00 p.m. before the service at the church.
