Ellen "Sis" Boggess 72 of Red House passed away January 1, 2015 at Hubbard Hospice House after an extended illness. She was a retired cook with Putnam County Schools and was a Buffalo High School Athletic Boosters Mother who prepared meals before the games. Preceding her in death were her parents Denver and Mary Beaver Moss and her beloved husband Bobby Jarrell Boggess, Sr. Survivors include her sons, Bobby Boggess and wife Sabrina of Winston Salem, NC and Jay Boggess and wife Diana of Eleanor; daughters, Teresa Craig and husband Bob of Fraziers Bottom and Debbie Boggess of Midway; siblings, Roger Moss and wife Mazie of Atlanta, Ga; Merlin Moss of Sissonville; Leo Moss and wife Missy of Sissonville; Richard Moss; Richard Moss, Jr. of Charleston; Lizzie Ann Moss Atkinson of Charleston and JoHanna Taylor and husband Danny of Sissonville. 11 Grandchildren and 12 Great Grandchildren. Funeral Services will be 1:00 PM Monday January 5, 2015 at Cunningham-Parker-Johnson Funeral Home with Pastor Bobby Craig and Pastor Chad Lovejoy officiating. Burial will follow in Sissonville Memorial Gardens, Sissonville. Visitation with the family will be from 6 to 8 PM Sunday January 4 at the Funeral Home.
