Elizabeth "Lib" Davis, 92 of Charleston passed away February 25, 2012 after a long illness. She was a member of the Charleston Mountain Mission, and a Loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother. Lib was preceded in death by her loving husband of 67 years Orville Davis; parents Holley and Esta Carpenter; brothers, Clarence, Camden and Herman Carpenter; sister, Elsie Oxley. Surviving her are her daughters, Donna Brooks of Charlotte, North Carolina and Debbie Selbe and her husband Joe of Cross Lanes. Grandchildren, Mitchell Davis of North Carolina, Kerri Ray Hahn of Jacksonville, North Carolina, Brandon Carter of Charleston, Belinda Armstrong of North Carolina and Becky Smith of Morgantown. 13 Great Grandchildren, and a host of friends also left to mourn her passing. Funeral Services will be 11:00 AM Thursday March 1, 2012 at Cunningham-Parker-Johnson Funeral Home with the Rev. Fairley McCormick officiating. Burial will follow in Floral Hills Garden of Memories, Pocatalico. Visitation with the family will be Wednesday from 6 to 8 PM at the Funeral Home.
