Elinor Hill Lloyd, 80, of Charleston went home to be with the Lord December 7, 2009. She was a former Employee of McDonald's on Capitol Street. She was a member of Southridge Church of God, where she taught Sunday school for 40 years. She enjoyed reading Biography's and Traveling. She was preceded in death by her Parents, Henry and Arzella Vickers Hill; Brothers, Harold and George Hill; and her Husband of 56 years William F. Lloyd. Surviving her is Son, William "Frank" Lloyd, II, and his wife Cindy of Charleston; and her Daughter, Kathy Lloyd of Columbus, Ohio. Grandchildren, Bill Lloyd of Chesapeake, Virginia; Kevin Lloyd and his wife Brandy of Charleston; Rachel Means and her husband Chris of Charleston, Joshua Fulks of Okeechobee, Florida, and 6 Great Grandchildren. Brothers and Sisters, Josephine Messenger of South Charleston; Arlene Pettit Finley of Dunbar; James Maxwell Hill of Alum Creek; Darus Hill and wife Marilyn of Michigan; Annagay Childress and husband Jack of Michigan; and Gloria Thomas and husband Hayward of North Carolina. Funeral Services will be 11:00 AM Friday, December 11, 2009 at Southridge Church of God with Pastor V.P. Palmer officiating. Burial will follow in Tyler Mountain Memory Gardens, Cross Lanes. Visitation with the family will be from 6 to 8 PM Thursday at Cunningham-Parker-Johnson Funeral Home and one hour prior to services on Friday at the Church.
