Edsel Allen Asbury, 81, of Cross Lanes, passed away July 22, 2009 at The Valley Center, South Charleston He was retired from Purity Baking Company and the University of Charleston. He is survived by his loving Wife of 58 years, Betty; Sons, Eddie Asbury and his wife Kathy of Waverly, Kansas, Scott Asbury and his wife Pamela, and Kirby Asbury and his wife Elizabeth, all of Cross Lanes; Sister, Minerva Sneed of Cross Lanes. 4 Grandchildren, 1 Great Grandchild and many Nieces and Nephews are left to mourn his passing. Graveside Services and Burial will be 11:00 AM Saturday July 25, 2009 at Tyler Mountain Memory Gardens, Cross Lanes with Elder James L. Johnson officiating. A Gathering of Family and Friends will be Friday July 24, 2009 from 6 to 8 PM at Cunningham-Parker-Johnson Funeral Home.
