Edgell "Eddie" Jones, III, 42, of Charleston, passed away September 18, 2009 at his sister's home in Dunbar, after a five month battle with cancer. Eddie was preceded in death by his father, Edgell Jones, II and his grandparents. Surviving are; daughters, Natasha, Brittney, Jennifer, and Morgan; mother, Virginia Jones of Charleston; sisters and brothers-in-law, Arlene and David Thomas of Walton, Lovada Jones of Dunbar, and Marsha and Joseph Aubrey of Bella Vista, AR; and special lifelong friend, Ronnie Hall. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, September 22, at Cunningham-Parker-Johnson Funeral Home, Charleston with the Rev. Jerry Naylor officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park, South Charleston, to whom the family extends a special thanks. Visitation with the family will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
