Eddie Curtis Tanner, 63, of Hurricane, formerly of Charleston passed away March 15, 2010. He was an Army Paratrooper during the Vietnam War, and Retired from KRT. He enjoyed going to Flea Markets and was a Loving Father, Companion and Grandfather. He was preceded in death by his Parents, Ernest and Emogene Tanner; Son, Eddie "Junior" Tanner, and Grandson, Rylan Boyd Tanner. Surviving him is Son, Bobby J. Tanner and wife Christy of Culloden; Daughters, Kimberly Tanner of Charleston, Brandi McClanahan and husband Kerry of Charleston; Granddaughter, Izabella Rose McClanahan; Former Wife, Connie Tanner of Charleston; Companion, Cindy Hickman of Hurricane; Sisters, Kathy Hamilton and husband Dana of Charleston, Bonnie Bess of Hurricane, Judy Holstein and husband David of Mason County. Funeral Services will be 2:00 PM Wednesday March 17, 2010 at Cunningham-Parker-Johnson Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Elk Hills Memorial Park, Big Chimney, WV. Visitation with the family will be one hour prior to services also on Wednesday.
