Eddie Brooks, 50, of Charleston passed away November 29, 2010 after a long illness. He was a former member of the West Virginia Air National Guard. He was a self-employed Residential Maintenance Worker. He was preceded in death by his father, Herbert Harrison Brooks. Surviving him are Mother, Jo Brooks of Sissonville; Brothers, Herb Brooks and wife Brenda of Sissonville and Jeff Brooks and wife Sharlee of Nitro. 1 Nephew and 2 Nieces. Girlfriend, Sheila Lovejoy of Charleston, and her sons, Benjamin, Earl and Robert Tichner. Graveside Services and Burial will be 1:00 PM Friday, December 3, 2010 at Floral Hills Garden of Memories, Pocatalico with Pastor Michael Harper officiating. Visitation with the family will be Thursday December 2, 2010 from 6 to 8 PM at Cunningham-Parker-Johnson Funeral Home.
