Doyle Bays, Sr., 78 passed away January 12, 2017 at The Valley Center in South Charleston.
Doyle was preceded in death by his parents Ray Bays, Sr., and Bertha Bays; brothers, Jimmie and Delmar Bays; sister, Shelby Bays, and 30 days after his passing his brother Samuel H. Bays passed on February 12, 2017.
Mr. Bays proudly served his country in the U.S. Army and was a loving husband, father, grand and great grandfather.
Left to mourn his passing is his loving wife of 60 years, Janettie; sons, Joseph Bays of Charleston, Samuel Bays and Doyle Bays, Jr., both of Cottageville and daughters, Cindy Bays of Charleston and Rhonda Hudson of St. Albans; brothers, Ray Bays, Jr., of Charleston and David Bays of Eastview, KY; sisters, Thelma Boggess of Southside, WV, Trillis Leftwich of Clendenin and Martha Gresham of Charleston. 12 Grandchildren 25 Great Grandchildren and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins who are also left to mourn his passing.
A Memorial Service will be held 2:00 PM Saturday April 8, 2017 at Cunningham-Parker-Johnson Funeral Home with the Rev. Edward Jarrett officiating. Visitation with the family will be one hour prior to services.
