Dorma Lee Thaxton 88 of Charleston passed away January 23, 2013 at the Cedar Ridge Center. She was a homemaker, loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and great great grandmother. Dorma was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Rose Bell Haynes Coffman, and her husband Ira Thaxton. Survivors include her sons, Orville Thaxton of Wolf Pen and Roger Thaxton of Sissonville; sister, Lilly Mae Westfall. Five grandchildren, six great grandchildren and one great great grandson. Funeral Services will be 2:00 PM January 27, 2013 at Cunningham-Parker-Johnson Funeral Home with the Rev. Clifton "Cliff" Thaxton officiating. Burial will follow in Thaxton Cemetery, Thaxton Hollow, Charleston. Visitation with the family will be 6 to 8 PM Saturday January 26, 2013 at the Funeral Home.
