Doris Jean Harrison, 87, of Charleston, WV, passed away on February 3, 2021 at Hubbard Hospice House in Charleston. Born February 7, 1933 in Charleston, she was the daughter of the late Abb Breedens and Elizabeth Rhodes. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Perry Harrison; granddaughter, Crystal Thaxton and unborn baby Harper. Doris was a lifelong member of Elizabeth Baptist Church and loved telling people about the Lord. She was a loving and devoted wife and mother who will be dearly missed. She is survived by her daughters, Elizabeth (Leroy) Thaxton, Joyce (Jerry) McFarland and Vanessa Taylor (Danny Thaxton), all of Wolf Pen, Sissonville; brothers, Dickie, Marshall, Roger, Gary, Tommy and Johnny Breeden; grandchildren, Allison (Jay) Jones, Ashley Tippet, Shannon Daniel and Tammy Slater, and several great-grandchildren. A Graveside service will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Friday, February 5, 2021 at the Old Thaxton Cemetery in Charleston, with Pastor Randy Campbell, officiating.
