Donna L. Davis, 73, of Charleston, walked through the pearly gates of Heaven on April 11, 2014. Donna was a life-long Christian. She attended City of Hope Fellowship and United Gospel Mission. Donna also sang with her family in The Ashby Family Singer for many years. Survivors include her loving children, Debra Holstein, Della Young and husband, Mike and Evangelist Ricky Counts and wife, Tracy; brother, Albert Ashby and wife, Brenda; grandchildren, Wayne Rogers, Ian King, Savannah Ferguson, Rita Young, Aaron Young, Christopher Hudson, Joshua Hudson and Sierra Counts; and 11 great-grandchildren. Also surviving are a host of family and friends left to mourn her passing. Funeral service will be Thursday, April 17, 2014 at 11:00 AM at Cunningham-Parker-Johnson Funeral Home with Rev. Gary Riley officiating. Burial will follow at Tyler Mountain Memory Gardens, Cross Lanes. Visitation with the family will be Wednesday from 6 - 8 PM also at the funeral home.
