Rev. Donald L. Young Rev Donald L. Young, 78, of Charleston, went home to be with the Lord, December 25, 2013 at Hubbard Hospice House, Charleston. Rev. Young, was a minister in the Primitive Advent Christian Conference for 43 years. He was retired from Greyhound Bus Lines. Surviving are, his wife, Peggy Jean Layne Young; children, Don Young, Jr. and wife Cecilia of South Charleston, Judy Judy of Charleston, Joy Porter and husband, Ron of Milton, Karla Reece of Charleston; son-in-law, Bill Judy of Charleston; grandchildren, Rachel Tincher and husband, Ray of San Antonio, Texas, Andrew Judy of Houston, Texas, Paige Porter and Gabriel Porter both of Milton and Jordyn Reece of Charleston. Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Sunday, December 29, 2013 at Cunningham-Parker-Johnson Funeral Home, Charleston, with the Rev. Linden Reed officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Park, South Charleston. Visitation with the family will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
