Donald "Bo" Bowl" Shamblin, 56, of Derricks Creek, went home to be with the Lord September 29, 2010. Mr. Shamblin loved to hunt and fish and enjoyed the outdoors. He also loved antique cars but more than anything he loved being a Paw-Paw and was a great Dad. He was preceded in death by his mother, Delsie Hackney Shamblin; and brother, Jerry "Buck" Shamblin. Survivors include his loving wife, Carla Shamblin; daughters, Donna Sue Shamblin Bibber and husband, Bobby, Stephanie Blosser, Missy Shamblin Fling and husband, John, and Jenny Shamblin Hanshaw and husband, Jamie; father, Warren Shamblin; sisters, Joyce Shamblin Miller, Rita Shamblin Simon and Rose Shamblin Welch of; brothers, Larry "Butch" Shamblin and Ronald "Newt" Shamblin; 12 grandchildren; and a multitude of nieces and nephews. Funeral Service will be 11 am Friday, October 1, 2010 at Cunningham-Parker-Johnson Funeral Home with Pastor Ronald Shamblin officiating. Burial will follow at Floral Hills Garden of Memories. Visitation with the family will be Thursday, from 6-8 pm at the funeral home.
