Obituary
Donald Layne Carter, 62, formerly of Charleston and currently was living in Fairmont passed away March 2, 2019 at Fairmont Regional Center Rehabilitation, Fairmont.
Survivors include his sisters, Barbara Carter of Charleston (Donald was her little angel and gift) and Betty White of Bluegrass, Iowa; brother, Ronald Carter; aunts, Rose Lee of Ravenswood and Betty of Charleston; niece, Faith of Bluegrass, Iowa.
Preceding him in death were his parents, Robert Raymond and Sarah Eliza Rucker Carter and his sister, Estella Reese.
A Special Thank You to all the friends and workers at the group home REM in Morgantown where Donald lived happily for 20 years.
Funeral Services will be 2:00 PM Thursday March 7, 2019 at The West Virginia Mausoleum Chapel in Tyler Mountain Memory Gardens, Cross Lanes with the Rev. Scott Davis officiating. Burial will follow in the Cemetery.
