Don E. Wandling 89 of Charleston passed away suddenly at his home October 22, 2015. Don was a decorated Army Veteran of WWII, retired Police Officer with the City of Charleston, Cattle Farmer and loved all animals. Don was very active until he passed away. Preceding him in death were his wife, June Wandling, baby daughter, Karen Dawn and granddaughter, Bridgette Venanzi. Surviving include his children, Jerry Wandling of Charleston, Sandra Jones and husband Jerry of Kenna, Terry Snuffer and husband Tom of Charleston and Julia Wandling of Charleston; brother and sister, Robert E. Wandling of Charleston and Renee Reveal of Cross Lanes; grandchildren, Edward Jones, Laticia Vigil, Christopher Jones and Crystal Dawn Hale; great grandchildren, Alexander Hale, Mackenzie Hale, Leandra Jones, Everest Jones, Shelby Vigil and Fisher Vigil. Funeral Services will be 2:00 PM Monday October 26, 2015 at Cunningham-Parker-Johnson Funeral Home with Donna Miller officiating. Visitation with the family will be two hours prior to services also on Monday. Burial with Military Graveside Rites provided by American Legion Post 61 Clendenin will follow in John Beane Cemetery, Sissonville.
