Dolores A. Stewart, 94, of Charleston, passed away on April 9, 2016 at St. Francis Hospital. Mrs. Stewart was a retired security guard for the West Virginia Alcohol and Beverage Control Commission. She also retired from Kanawha County Schools as a custodian. She attended St. Anthony Catholic Church, Charleston. Preceding her in death were her husband, Lance Stewart; parents, George and Ellen (Lang) Johns; sister, Corrinne Bokeno; and brother, Samuel Johns. Survivors include her loving daughters, Margaret Brown and Mary Jane Dulli, both of Hamilton, OH, Anne Thaxton and husband, Bobby of Ripley, and June Tillis and husband, Bill of Silver Springs, FL; son, George Stewart and companion, Delilah Fann of St. Albans; sister, Mary Hall of Hamilton, OH; brother, James Johns of Hamilton, OH; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews. A Catholic Scripture Service will be held 7:30 PM Wednesday, April 13, 2016 at Cunningham-Parker-Johnson Funeral Home, with Rev. Babu Joseph Elamturuthil as celebrant. Visitation will be two hours prior to service time at the funeral home. Burial will be private at Floral Hills Garden of Memories, Pocatalico.
