Diana Faye Winnell, 67, of Dunbar, WV went home to be with the Lord on March 25, 2022, surrounded by lifelong friends, Jeanie and Marvin Welch, family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Lois Hutchinson; daughter, Stephanie Hammack, and son, Johnnie Franklin Winnell III. She is survived by her brother Bill Hughart of Ripley; granddaughters, Kayla Brooks of Charleston, Briana (Caleb) Martin of St. Albans, and Stacia (Micheal) Aab of Charleston; great-grandchildren Kaysen D. and Kaiser D. A. Brooks of Charleston, Aiden M. and Avery E. Aab of Charleston, and Ezra J. H. Martin of St. Albans; nieces and nephews and a host of close friends and family.

Diana retired from Kanawha County Schools after many years of serving the Autism Community. She was a member of Sand Run Gospel Tabernacle and was proud to be a part of the Sand Run Bunch.

A visitation and funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Friday April 1, 2022 at Cunningham Parker and Johnson Funeral Home in Charleston, WV with the Reverends Marvin Welch and Doug Paxton will officiate.Visitation with the family will be one hour prior to services.Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park, South Charleston, WV
