Diana Lynn Deane 68 of St. Albans, went home to be with the Lord on September 24, 2013 after a long illness. She was a retiree from Verizon, Charleston after 25 years of service, was a devout Christian and member of Davis Memorial Baptist Church, loved reading and her grandchildren. Preceding her in death were her father; Lee "Tig" Snodgrass, Jr., and her sister, Cynthia Britton. Survivors include her husband of 47 years David "Dizzy" Deane; daughter, Robin Jackson of Charleston; mother and step-father, Mae and Orville Tackett of Charleston; sister, Pamela Skaggs of West Palm Beach, Florida; step-sister, Theresa Duncan of Dunbar. Grandchildren, Leah Diane and Dena Mae Harrell. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews who are also left to mourn her passing. Funeral Services will be 1:00 PM Monday September 30, 2013 at Charleston Mountain Mission with the Rev. Fairley McCormick officiating. Burial will follow in Tyler Mountain Memory Gardens, Cross Lanes. Visitation with the family will be two hours prior to services also on Monday.
