Dewey H. Spencer Dewey H. Spencer, 78, of Sissonville, passed away at his residence, May 25, 2010 Dewey was retired from Mountaineer Gas with 35 years of faithful service. He was a lifelong member of Legg Fork Community Church, where he was an Elder and Class Leader. He was preceded in death by his wife of 54 years, Bonnie Mae Spencer. Surviving are daughters, Lena Venessa Boggess of Sissonville, and Nancy Spencer and fiancée Nathan Lee Harvey both of Sissonville; brothers, Jerry Spencer and wife Patti and Joe Spencer all of Charleston; sister, Mazie Richardson of Charleston, half-sister Joyce; grandchildren, Joseph Boggess of Sissonville and fiancée, Jennifer Shilling, and Ayla Harvey of Sissonville; great-grandchildren, Shayln, Mychaela, Morgan and Logan, Mathew & Cierra. Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Friday, May 28, at Legg Fork Community Church, with Pastor Vincent Quinn officiating. Burial will be in Sissonville Memorial Gardens, Sissonville. Visitation with the family will be from11 a.m. until service time Friday at the church.
