On January 3rd, 2018, devoted son and father, Dennis Lovell Pritt, 61, left to be with the Lord after a short illness. Dennis was born in Charleston and lived most of his life in the Cross Lanes and Sissonville area.
Dennis is preceded in death by his parents Lester Pritt and Freeda Hamon Pritt; brother, Randell Pritt. He was survived by his two children Travis Pritt and Amber Pritt; two grandchildren Miley and Trenton Porter; his sisters, Joan Purse, Deborah Young, Joy Vernati, and Kelley Kimberlin; his brother Todd Page and several nieces and nephews.
Dennis was an avid hunter and fisherman, he loved to train and show hunting dogs, he was skilled at playing guitar, and enjoyed cooking and spending time with friends and family.
Dennis never met a stranger. He was funny, smart, kind hearted, quick witted and always happy. He enjoyed every day to its fullest. He was a talented carpenter and concrete finisher. He recently retired after a life time of work with Shamblin Concrete. He will be greatly missed by his old work family, friends and family.
Memorial services will be held 12:00, noon Saturday January 13, 2018 at Cunningham-Parker-Johnson Funeral Home Rev. Jarrold Lanham officiating.
