Delbert Riley McClanahan best known as "Wild Bill from Sissonville" passed away Tuesday, January 20th after a long illness. He was born June 11th, 1945, to the late Virgil and Ruby MvClanahan.

Bill loved life and was a avid hunter and fisherman. He worked his whole life as a butcher at the Big H Supervalu in Sissonville. Bill was a Sergeant in the 4th Infantry Division of the United States Army, know as 11 Bravo, Regulators by God.

Bill is survived by his loving wife of 53 years Olive McClanahan; son Jason McClanahan (Jennifer); grandchildren Riley and Rhys McClanahan; sister Patsy Westfall; brothers Rick and Virgil Lee McClanahan.

Funeral Services will be noon Friday, January 23rd at Cunningham Parker Johnson Funeral Home with Pastor John Rutherford and Pastor Dean Henson officiating. Burial will follow in Donel C. Kinnard State Veterans Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
