David Ray Walker, 62, of Sissonville went home to be with his heavenly father, the Lord Jesus Christ, on June 11, 2011. David was preceded in death by his son, Matthew David Walker, parents, Reba and Delbert Walker, brother, Dana Walker and Step-father, Paris Robinson. Surviving him is his loving wife, Marlene, sons, Joey, David and Jeff all of Nitro; sisters, Anne Shaffer, Faye Harding, Wanda McGraw and her husband Orville, all of Sissonville; brothers, Tommy Walker and his wife Shirley of Sissonville, Lonnie Walker and his wife Kay of Kenna, Lovell Walker and his wife Rose of Hurricane, and Gary Walker of Merritt Island Florida. Special Friends Edmond and Shirley Burdette. Also his loving pet MooMoo David was a Retired Heavy Equipment Operator, and attended Silas Gospel Tabernacle, where he held the following offices of Delegate and Trustee. Funeral Services will be 1:00 Pm Tuesday June 14, 2011 at Cunningham-Parker-Johnson Funeral Home with Pastor Harold Boggs officiating. Burial will follow in the Layne Cemetery, Kanawha Two Mile, Charleston. Visitation with the family will be from 5to 8 PM Monday at the Funeral Home.
