Daniel "Danny" Carpenter, 71, of Charleston passed away August 16, 2018 at CAMC General Hospital.
He was a former Heavy Equipment Operator.
Preceding him in death were his parents, Ladd and Marie Thaxton Carpenter; son, Greg Carpenter; brother, Dennis Carpenter and sister, Joann Ballew.
Survivors include his wife, Mona Carpenter; son, Danny Ray Carpenter and wife Mary of Sissonville, Jeff Carpenter and wife Cindy of Kenna and Steve Carpenter and wife Jaime of Hurricane; brothers, Charles Carpenter of Nitro and David Carpenter and wife Norma of Sissonville; sisters, Patricia Landers and husband Jerry of N.C. and Sharon Jones and husband Bill of Charleston. Grandchildren, Danny Michael Bostic, Ashley Carpenter, Steven Carpenter, Ryan Woods and Aaron Woods.
As per his request, there will be no Visitation or Services held.
His interment will be in New Thaxton Family Cemetery, Charleston.
