Collett Bernard Beane, 72, of Sissonville, passed away on February 26, 2015. Mr. Beane was a Sergeant in the US Army serving in both Korea and Viet Nam. He also loved fishing and hunting. He was preceded in death by his parents, Noble and Sidney McClanahan Beane; sister, Wanda Beane; and brother, Junior Beane. Survivors include his loving children, Sherry Comstock of Texas, Randy Beane and wife, Kelly of Oxford, AL, Michael Beane of West Plaines, MO, and Robbie Beane and wife, Katie of St. Louis, MO; sister, Mae Lanham and husband, Sammy of Sissonville; brother, Donald Beane of Sissonville; grandchildren, Jeremiah and Joshua Comstock, and Blake, Jordan and Dakota Beane; and two great-grandchildren. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews and his best friend, Eddie Haynes. The family will receive friends Sunday from 2 - 4 PM at Cunningham-Parker-Johnson Funeral Home, Charleston.
