Many lives were blessed on December 17, 2012 when Clarence Lovelly Burdette, II, or as everyone called him, baby Dallas, was born. Dallas was born with Cystic Fibrosis, a chronic lung disease, and was a soldier and fighter through it all until he lost his battle with it on February 26, 2015. He is greeted in heaven by his great-great-grandparents, Bill and Dorma Tanner, Margie and Clarence Burdette, and Dorothy and Daniel Latta; and grandmother, Melody "Diddy" Miller Oxley. Survivors include his loving parents, Makala Miller and Clarence "Doc" Burdette; sisters, Mariah Burdette and Teiara Justice; brother, Samajay NeSmith; grandparents, Daniel "Junie" Latta and Donna "Kay" Burdette; great-grandparents, Margie and David Miller; and many, many aunts, uncles, cousins and loved ones. Funeral service will be Tuesday, March 3, 2015 at 1:00 PM at Cunningham-Parker-Johnson Funeral Home with Rev. Al Mendez officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, South Charleston. Friends will be received one hour prior to service time at the funeral home.
