Chase Hoyt Burford 18 of Sissonville went home to be with the Lord on December 13, 2015. Chase was preceded in death by his great grandparents, Denver & Lola Casdorph and Hoyt P. Burford; great grandparents, Charlie & Erma Humphreys and great grandparents Elizabeth C. Withrow and Lowell Withrow. He was a 2015 Graduate of Sissonville High School and was currently employed by UPS. Chase was a fun loving kid who was loved by all. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, working on his jeep, riding horses and spending many many days with his grandfather (Doug and Dick) on the farm. He was care free and lived his life to the fullest. He loved his friends and family, and would do anything for anyone. Although we don't have him now, God has a greater plan for him. He will be greatly missed and forever in our hearts. Chase left behind to cherish his memories: father and mother, Nathan and Cara Burford; sisters, Courtney and Ciera; grandparents, Charlie and Verna Burford; grandfather, Doug Humphreys; grandmother, Carla and Kelley Hanson; great grandmother, Orpha Burford; great grandparents; Dick and Reba Humphreys; very loved by uncle Eric, aunt Bridget, nieces, Paige and Eva, aunt Jenny, uncle Ronnie and Kathy, and cousins Brad, Chad and Kristen, and all the loving cousins, aunts and uncles; closest friends, Austin, Brett, Hunter, Linny, Jon Jon, Ryan, Keaton, Taylor and many others. "FLY HIGH MAN" Funeral Service will be 1:00 PM Thursday December 17, 2015 at Calvary Church of the Nazarene, 1113 Lakewood Drive, Sissonville with the Rev. Al Mendez and Rev. Kevin Walker officiating. Entombment will follow in Floral Hills Garden of Memories, Pocatalico. Visitation with the family will be from 5 to 9 PM Wednesday also at the church.
