Charles Taylor Charles Taylor, 62, of South Charleston, passed away, December 5, 2009 at Hubbard Hospice House, after a short illness. He was born in Roane County October 13, 1947, the son of Ovie Taylor and Bessie Gandee Bullard, both deceased. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Steve Taylor. Surviving are his son, Charles Gilbert of Florida; daughter, Mona Pitsinger of St. Paris, Ohio; three grandsons, and three granddaughters; brothers and sisters-in-law, Bill and Mona Taylor of Alum Creek, Willard and Linda Taylor of Sissonville, Wilbur and Jean Taylor of Delaware, Ohio, Tim Taylor of Delaware, Ohio, and Kenny and Carol Larch of Spencer; sister and brother-in-law, Clorena and Mike McClanahan of Sissonville; sister-in-law, Cammy Taylor of South Charleston. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, December 8, at Cunningham-Parker-Johnson Funeral Home, Charleston with the Rev. Bill Berry officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Moriah Cemetery, Roane County.
