Charles Lee Rose (Weasel), 80 of South Charleston, WV passed away October 25, 2021 at Hubbard Hospice West, South Charleston. He was born December 24, 1940 in Logan, WV to the late Clarence and Jessie Ruth (Todd) Rose. He was also preceded in death by his wife Cassandra Venise (Freeman) Rose; brother Carl (Bo Bo) Rose; sisters Drema (Dee Dee) Pratt, Gloria Johnson. Charles was retired from the City of Charleston and proudly served in the United States Army. He is survived by his son Charles Lee Rose, II (Chuck), daughter Saianya Rose both of South Charleston; brothers Clarence (Rogie) Rose, Jr. (Brenda) of Columbus, OH, Curtis Rose of Waterbury, CT; sister Jackie Rose of Charleston, WV; 5 grandchildren, Jaleel, C'ajiah, Maurice, Jeremiah and Sainya; numerous nieces and nephews.
A gathering of family and friends will be Friday, November 5th from 12pm to 2pm at Cunningham-Parker-Johnson Funeral Home. The family requests that anyone in attendance to please wear a mask.
