Charles "Danny" Myers, 63, of Charleston passed away January 20, 2011. He was a U.S. Army Veteran having served his country in Vietnam. He was a Tractor Trailer Driver for over 40 years, and a Member of Teamsters Local Union #175. He enjoyed attending sporting events in which his Grandsons participated. He never missed a game. He was preceded in death by his Parents, Luke and Ruth Myers; Brother, Robert "Porky" Myers; Sister Patricia Brandon and Nephew Jason Pierce. Surviving him is his Wife and Best Friend of 43 years, Linda Myers; Children, Tammy Hurd, Christina Hale and Brian Myers, all of Charleston; Sister, Evelyn Pierce of Charleston. 9 Special Grandchildren, Michael, Gregory, Mathew, Jamie, Tyler, Alyssa, Trina, Austin and Alayna. Funeral Services will be 11:00 AM Monday January 24, 2011 at Cunningham-Parker-Johnson Funeral Home with Pastor David McCormick officiating. Burial with Military Graveside Rites provided by American legion Post #61, Clendenin will follow in Sunset Memorial Park, South Charleston. Visitation with the family will be Sunday from 6 to 8 PM at the Funeral Home.
