Charles Edward Taylor, 86, of Sissonville was welcomed into his wife, Mary's arms at the gates of Heaven on Saturday, October 14th, 2023. He was born on March 17th, 1937, son of the late Robert and Hazel Taylor.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Mary Marjorie Taylor; his parents; his two sons, Charles. Jr. and Robin, son in laws, Douglas and Billy; brothers, Ernest, Harold and Eldon; sisters, Rachel and Lettie; great grandchildren, Railyn and Christopher.

Ones left behind to cherish his memory are daughters, Paula (Sam), Annie(Glenn), and Mary; sons: Kenny (Beverly), Jeff (Cindy); brother, Dorsel; sister, Kay; 24 grandchildren, 59 great grandchildren, and his special little dog, Molly, was always by his side.

A couple of days before he made his grand entrance into Heaven, Dad said the Bible told him he would get a new heart and soul and he did just that.

"may the winds of Heaven blow softly... And whisper in your ear, How much we love and miss you, and wish that you were here." You will never be forgotten. Until we meet again. We love you Dad.

A special thanks to the family and friends that were there for him and to CAMC General ICU for all of their care and comfort during this time.
