Cebert "Peachy" Thaxton
Cebert "Peachy" Thaxton, 65, of Sissonville, passed away, October 29, 2016 in Hubbard Hospice House, Charleston.
Peachy retired from West Virginia Department of Highways after 34 ½ years of service. He attended Rt. 34 Community Tabernacle Church.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Darlene "Doll" Thaxton; parents Calvin and Thelma Thaxton; brother, Butch Thaxton.
Surviving are; daughter, Katie (Kevin) Whiting and their children, Stacie, Dusty, and Justin; son Ben (Heather) Thaxton and their children, Corey, Cody, Caydance, Jase, and Gavin.
Funeral service will be 1:00 PM Friday, November 4, 2016 at Cunningham-Parker-Johnson Funeral Home, Charleston, with Pastor Dale Grady officiating. Burial will be in Floral Hills Garden of Memories, Pocatalico.
Visitation with the family will be from 6 to 8 p.m., Thursday at the funeral home.
