Catherine Walker High 89 of Tuppers Creek went home to be with the Lord on January 28, 2013 at CAMC General Division. Catherine was a homemaker, loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was a member of Walker Chapel Church and attended Tuppers Valley Church. She enjoyed her home and being with her family. Preceding her in death were her parents John W. and Pliney Cavender Walker; husband William "Junior" High; infant son, Larry Edward High; brothers, Breman, Raybert, Basil, Leonard and Lanny Walker; sisters, Tressa Walker, Mamie Boggess, Gladys Baldwin, Cleo Tate, Lorena Boggess, Violet Oxley and Lela Moore. Survivors include her children, Marvin High and wife Ethel and Joyce Berrier and husband Dave all of Charleston; grandchildren, Jeffrey Allen High and wife Amber of Spencer; Kerri Pauley and husband Keith of Sissonville; Craig Berrier and Mark Berrier and wife Tami all of Charleston; great grandchildren, Connor Allen High, Makynli Berrier, and Mason Berrier. Also surviving are numerous Nieces and Nephews who are also left to mourn her passing. Funeral Services will be 11:00 AM Thursday January 31, 2013 at Cunningham-Parker-Johnson Funeral Home with the Rev. Thomas R. Moore, her nephew officiating. Burial will follow in Floral Hills Garden of Memories, Pocatalico. Visitation with the family will be Wednesday January 30, 2013 from 6 to 8 PM at the funeral home.
